Expertise I have taught ethics and health law to medical students for many years. My PhD (and early research) was on the ethics of human experimentation and ethics committees. Current focus is more philosophical with a particular interest in Nietzsche and the work of some European philosophers influenced by Nietzsche. Recent research (with Kerridge, Henry and others) into the relationship between the medical professsion and the pharmaceutical industry.
